Sonoma's French Sister City Committee Looking for Members

Does the mention of Pinot Noir or coq au vin make your mouth water? Does the idea of traveling to the French wine region of Burgundy appeal? Do you want to meet other Francophiles and hone your French speaking skills? If you answered yes, yes and yes, you might like to join the Chambolle-Musigny Sonoma Sister Cities Association (CHAMSON). They're looking for new members.

Chambolle-Musigny is a wine producing community in Cˆøte de Nuits, which is world reknowned for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. 

CHAMSON has been active for about 50 years, hosting exchanges between the Sonomans and French, giving out scholarships and sharing French culture in Sonoma. A group of people from Sonoma visited Chambolle-Musigny in 2011 and the French are expected in Sonoma next year.

Representatives from CHAMSON will be at the Vintage House on March 14, where there'll be a lecture by Jean-Charles Boisset, president of Boisset Family Estates . This is part of the Windows to the World series produced by the Sonoma Sister Cities Association. Parlez français or chat in English at the CHAMSON table there.
