Country Summer, Northern California’s biggest country music festival being held June 14-16 at the Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, has announced more big name artists and hot newcomers rounding out the final lineup of entertainers on the Chevy Silverado Stage.

Headliners are Jake Owen, Tim McGraw and Old Dominion. In addition to other previously announced artists, Big & Rich, Aaron Watson, Gabby Barrett, Keith Anderson and Lauren Jenkins have been named to the lineup.

Known for such hits as “Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy,” “Did It For The Party” and “Comin’ To Your City,” Big & Rich -- Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich -- tour the country for more than 100 dates annually, presenting electrifying concert spectacles of ceaseless energy and outrageous personality.

Watson, a traditional torch-bearer whose rise to the top has been paved by 20 years of perseverance, has recorded more than a dozen albums and performed more than 2,500 shows in the United States and Europe. Determined to stay true to his roots, his new, 20-song, self-penned album, Red Bandana, is slated for release on June 21.

Barrett came into prominence when the 18-year-old vocal powerhouse hit the national stage as a finalist on Season 16 of “American Idol.” She just released her new single and video “I Hope,” which already has 2 million streams.

Anderson, a singer/songwriter, has co-written hits for artists, such as Big & Rich, Garth Brooks and George Jones. His latest song, “I’ll Bring The Music,” has had a huge resonance with fans. “That’s the song that gets them on their feet and they’re still singing when they had out the door,” he says.

Jenkins, who has been touring since she was 15-years-old, recently completed writing, co-producing and starring in an original short film titled Running Out of Road that accompanied the release of her debut album, No Saint, available now.

In addition, Brandon Ray will perform live at the After Party on Friday, June 14, and Cale Dodds will perform live at the After Party on Saturday, June 15.

Celebrating its sixth year anniversary in 2019, Country Summer has evolved into a colossal three-day destination country music event, featuring a total of 20 performers on two stages. Fourteen nationally known country music artists perform on the Chevy Silverado Stage, the main stage. Six up-and-coming local and regional bands perform on the Redwood Credit Union Stage between main acts.

While country music artists are the main attraction, great festivals are more than great music. With shopping, experiential activities, a variety of culinary delights and an array of libations – from Bud Light for beer drinkers, to wine and spirits at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Garden and

Jack Daniel’s Saloon -- Country Summer has amassed a loyal fan base, locally and from across the country. In 2018, it attracted more than 30,000 fans from 38 states.
