Donate Blood And Get In Free To Six Flags Discovery Kingdom On Monday!

On Monday, May 25, receive a free admission ticket to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo when you donate blood during the Memorial Day Blood Drive.

Your donation will benefit Blood Centers of the Pacific and its affiliate hospitals, physicians and patients throughout Northern California.
Walk-up donations at the Bloodmobile, located at the park entrance, will be available, though to guarantee a spot, visit bloodheroes.com to schedule your appointment. Just click “donate blood” at the top of page and enter, in all caps, the sponsor code: SFDK.

The blood drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Donation Process:
- Prospective donors will complete a health history questionnaire and screening interview
- Take brief physical examination of blood pressure, pulse, temperature and a test for anemia
- If these requirements are met, a pint of blood is drawn; donors are served refreshments while remaining seated for 15 minutes
- The entire process takes a little over an hour
To be eligible:
- Age: 17 (16-year-olds can donate with a minor donor permission form signed by a parent or guardian - visit the Bloodcenters.org(link is external) site)
- Weight: At least 110 pounds
- Diet: A well-balanced meal is recommended within four hours of donation
- Health: General good health
- Identification: Valid ID such as driver’s license, DMV ID card, passport, etc.
