Guerneville Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Free Thanksgiving Dinner for the homeless, disadvantaged, and other community members of Guerneville.

The Annual Guerneville Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the Guerneville Veterans Memorial Hall on Thanksgiving from 12-4pm.

For the last 15 years, Penny Rivas has organized a free Thanksgiving Dinner for the homeless, disadvantaged, and other community members of Guerneville. Penny is a one woman powerhouse! Lighthouse Christian Church is now working with Penny to help make this year’s dinner happen.

This year, about 400-500 people are expected to attend (possibly more since so many still displaced by fires). It costs about $7 per person to pay for the full meal (turkey, stuffing, dessert, drinks, and more). If you would like to help sponsor some of the people and make a donation, please send to Lighthouse Christian Church Sonoma (170 Andrieux Street Sonoma, CA 95476) or at http://sonomalighthouse.com/

$7 donated = 1 person helped with a full meal.

For anyone interested in donating desserts, please bake and deliver to Lighthouse Guerneville or Lighthouse Main Campus on Wednesday, Nov 22. We suggest cookies or brownies that are pre-cut and easy to distribute please. (We are pre-buying all the pumpkin and apple pies so those will be covered.)
