Plein Air Painting for Teens

Just for teens! Participate in the Sonoma Plein Air Festival as an artist!

In this special afternoon workshop, teens will join local artist Carol Smith Myer on the Plaza for a demonstration of her Colorist oil painting technique. Students will learn how she sees the differences in light and shadow that are used to create an impressionist painting; then, they will follow the steps to create their own plein air painting, like the professional artists exhibiting their work nearby.
