Santa Rosa School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Santa Rosa is August 15. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Santa Rosa City School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 12/22: No Secondary School for Students (Teacher Workday), Second Quarter Ends
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/30: No School for Students (Professional Development Day)

February
