Sonoma County-Based Junior College Receives Community Grant

Members of a Sonoma County women's giving circle recently presented the donation.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Representatives from the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation and the Foundation's High School Equivalency (HEP) Program recently received a $5,000 community grant from a Sonoma County women’s giving circle.

Members of Impact 100 Redwood Circle presented the donation on Friday, Dec. 16.

The HEP Program helps migrant and seasonal agricultural workers and their immediate family members achieve high school equivalency certificates. HEP students can then gain improved employment, enroll in post-secondary education or enlist in military services.
