SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Crews in Sonoma County next week begin emergency repairs of a roadway that was recently damaged by the overflow of Green Valley Creek.

According to Sonoma County Water Agency officials, recent heavy rain from storms has caused the creek to jump its banks and run over Green Valley Road, covering the road and damaging the pavement.

The county closed Green Valley Road on Thursday, Feb. 9 due to damage to the road's surface.
