Sonoma County Whole Foods Markets Donating Sales To Support Area Parks
On April 5, five percent of all sales from the Whole Foods stores in Sonoma and Santa Rosa will be donated to to support regional parks.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Local shoppers will have the opportunity to give back to more than a dozen organizations next week, simply by shopping their local Whole Foods Market on April 5.
On that day, five percent of sales from the stores in the cities of Santa Rosa and Sonoma will be donated as part of an effort to support local parks and community open spaces. Sonoma proceeds will go to Sonoma County Regional Parks, while Santa Rosa funds will go to the City of Santa Rosa Parks & Recreation.
The effort spans the entire Northern California region, and every Whole Foods Market store will participate in the giving event. anticipating a combined donation of around $200,000 supporting various parks and recreational organizations.
