Sonoma Hotel Ranks Among Tops In NorCal

SONOMA, CA —A Sonoma resort, MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa, was among several in the region that ranked high in Condé Nast Traveler's annual Readers’ Choice Award for Northern California's top hotels in 2019, according to the latest ratings released this week.

More than 600,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the globe submitted responses rating their travel experiences.

MacArthur Place, at 29 E. MacArthur St. in Sonoma, came in at No. 25. and began as a family vineyard and ranch, that later transformed into a top-notch resort with rooms, dining and spa services.

Coming in at No. 1 in NorCal was Olema House Point Reyes, in Olema, praised by readers for its location on the outskirts of the Point Reyes National Seashore, coupled with the hotel's "24 individually appointed rooms, which include two cottages, all tout heat-warmed floors, down comforters and pillows, and artisan Americana decor."

Also on the list and winning acclaim from the region were: North Block Hotel in Yountville; Hotel Yountville; Farmhouse Inn in Forestville; Boedega Bay Lodge in Bodega Bay; Bardessono in Yountville; Harmon Guest House in Healdsburg; Archer Hotel Napa; and Las Alcobas Napa Valley in St. Helena.
