Police nabbed a 25-year-old man who, police said, was yelling, flailing his arms, and disturbing customers at the McDonalds in El Verano at 10:55 a.m. With wet belongings strewn about the restaurant, the man, who police say is a transient, was charged with disturbing the peace and violating probation.

A men's 21-speed mountain bike with flattened tires was found abandoned at the intersection of Carriger Road and Grove Street at 3:00 p.m.
A burglar struck a home on the 1300 block of London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen, making off with a hard drive, a mac mini, and several expensive cameras. Entering through an unlocked window sometime between 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., the burglar also made off with a credit card, which was then used at a KFC in Petaluma.

Another burglar, entering through a side door of a residence at the 900 block of Walnut Street in El Verano, struck between 3:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. In addition to two Xbox consoles, and a laptop, the thief made off with 64 video games. A neighbor reported seeing an unknown young man wearing a white baseball cap and "gangstered-out" clothing, pacing the building at around 10:00 a.m.

A conversation turned to assault, when a 25-year-old male reportedly threw a rock from the passenger window of a black Honda Civic at 9:30 a.m. Hurled towards the drivers window of a 27-year-old males car, the rock was about six inches long and five inches thick, said police. A 22-year-old female was driving the car.
Removing a tool shed lock with a bolt cutter, a burglar hit the Sonoma Skypark, making off with tools including a jackhammer, a weedwacker, and an 18-volt saw. The Airport Manager suspects the robbery happened after Thanksgiving.
On the evening of Dec. 7, a burglar made off with a computer, a monitor, and about $800 in cash from a unit in the Acacia Grove Mobile Home Park. Police suspect the burglar used a key, obtained from a 45-year-old victim's new unit in the park, to break into the victims old unit, which still contained belongings.
