Halloween Horror Nights Adds More Mazes And Some Scary Food Options
The annual haunt at Universal Studios Hollywood lasts until November 4.

Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights, one of America’s most extreme interactive Halloween events, has added new mazes and scares to the annual fright fest. Additionally, there are some creepy food options throughout the park.
The three-dimensional world of terror includes a re-imagined Terror Tram experience, “Titans of Terror Tram: Hosted by Chucky.” The tram transports guests to the studio Backlot where they are dropped off to face slasher film villains Chucky the serial killer doll, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface.




Mazes based on horror movies throughout the lot include “Insidious: Beyond the Further,” “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” ”SAW: The Games of Jigsaw,” “The Shining,” “American Horror Story: Roanoke” and the new “The Horrors of Blumhouse,” based on “The Purge,” “Sinister” and “Happy Death Day” films.

Included in the Halloween Horror Nights and as a permanent attraction at Universal is “The Walking Dead” allowing fans of the popular AMC show to find their way through a maze of zombies and characters from the series.


Throughout the park various food vendor stands are offering Halloween inspired treats including IV blood bags filled with lime, green apple or fruit punch; a syringe full of red Jell-O; scary decorated glow in the dark doughnuts; cupcakes and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos corn cups.

Additionally, Jabbawockeez dance crew is also providing a hip hop performance.

There are also three mega scare zones with all types of monsters, zombies, ghouls and ghosts waiting to jump out at every corner. They include Helloween at the entrance, The Urban Inferno at the gateway to the Backlot and The Toxic Tunnel at the Lower Lot.

Fans can choose from the R.I.P Tour which includes a guided VIP walking tour of the mazes, unlimited Front of Line entry to all mazes, reserved VIP seating to the Jabbawockeez show, valet parking and a gourmet buffet with dinner and drinks for $299; Front of Line tickets which includes admission to Halloween Horror Nights, one time Front of Line access to mazes and rides and priority seating the Jabbawockeez show for $179 or a Day/Night combo including entrance to the park after 2 p.m.
