4-Alarm Fire In Vacaville Threatening Homes: Updated

A four-alarm fire is threatening homes in the Grandview Drive area of Vacaville Friday afternoon according to Vacaville police.

UPDATE 2:45PM-

The Solano County Fire Department reported at 2:33 p.m. the #AdobeIC fire progression has been stopped. Solano fire officials now estimate the fire at 30 acres.

VACAVILLE - Police in Vacaville are reporting that the #AdobeIC fire has been significantly suppressed to the rear of Grandview Court and Hillview Court.

Police say there are mandatory evacuations on Grandview Drive off Alamo. Mandatory evacuations are also in place on Hillsdale Ct and portions of El Camino Drive nearest the hills.

The Three Oaks Community Center has been designated as evacuation safe site.

Authorities say the Red Cross and Salvation Army have been called to help.

VACAVILLE - A four-alarm fire is threatening homes in the Grandview Drive area of Vacaville Friday afternoon according to Vacaville police, and people have been told to leave the area.

Vacaville police say a mandatory evacuation for Grandview Drive off Alamo Drive has been ordered due to the fire.

The fire in the hills west of Vacaville was reported around 12:30 p.m.

According to Vacaville fire officials, air attacks carrying retardant are underway.

Fire officials say Three Oaks Center is the designated evacuation site. The Red Cross is being called to help.
