Coroner Identifies Pedestrian Killed In Collision With Train

The fatal incident happened Wednesday near Cordelia and Orehr roads in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CA — The Solano County coroner's office has identified the man who died after he was hit by a train Wednesday afternoon as Naftali Harrison, 47, of Fairfield. Harrison was struck by an Amtrak Capitol Corridor train heading from Sacramento to San Jose around 4:25 p.m., Amtrak spokeswoman Beth Toll said.

The collision happened near Cordelia and Orehr roads, Solano County Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Daniel Pratt said.

None of the 175 people on the train were injured, and they were taken to San Jose by another train, Toll said.
