Fairfield Eatery Donating All Sales For A Day To Charity
Support the Children's Miracle Network and UC Davis Children's Hospital by grabbing a meal March 31 from Jersey Mike's in Fairfield.
FAIRFIELD, CA — The Fairfield Jersey Mike's Subs stores are among 13 Sacramento area locations donating 100 percent of sales Wednesday to the Children's Miracle Network & UC Davis Children's Hospital.
UC Davis Children’s Hospital is among 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals and one of only nine Children's Miracle Network hospitals in California. Your donations "create miracles" by funding medical care, research, equipment and education that saves and improves the lives of children.
The effort is part of the sandwich franchise chain's Month of Giving, which has raised $32 million for local charities since 2011. Jersey Mike's hopes to shatter its own record and raise more than $8 million this year, it said in a news release.

Jersey Mike’s has been taking donations all month for selected charities. “All sales from all locations” Wednesday will be donated, the company said. Owners will even donate their money to the cause so every dollar that flows in Wednesday will go to charity.
Restaurant owners pick the charities and identify organizations “that support local neighborhoods and build a stronger community,” the company said.
