Fairfield PAL Members Can Learn to Play Golf

From local pros and seasoned players!

From Fairfield Police Department:

From birdies to triple bogeys, GOLF is coming to the Fairfield Police Activities League (PAL) this summer! PAL members will learn golf swing fundamentals and learn about the game from local golf pros and seasoned peer players. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 4:30pm and all equipment will be provided.

“The NCGA Foundations’s Youth-On-Course program (http://youthoncourse.org/) has recently arranged it so kids can play golf at many of our local golf courses for $5 or less. But equipment expense, plus the traditional $100+ per hour golf lessons needed to understand the game still made golf unaffordable for many families. PAL’s new ‘King of the Swing’ golf program will provide free lessons to any PAL member that wants to learn the game. Golf courses are a great environment for kids and PAL’s King of The Swing program will allow more of Fairfield’s kids will be able to learn and enjoy the game” says Tom Nelson, PAL Golf Coach Volunteer.
