Fairfield Police Identify Homicide Victim
According to police, the woman was found bleeding in a parking lot and later died at a hospital.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Fairfield police have identified a woman who died in a hospital after she was found bleeding in a parking lot last week as Letha Bell Portis, 51, of Fairfield. Portis was found unconscious in the 1700 block of N. Texas Street around 11 p.m. on Aug. 6.
Police are investigating her death as a homicide.
