Former Green Bay Packer to play in Rotary Golf Tourney

Fairfield Suisun Rotary President Kelly Rhoads-Poston today announced that former Green Bay Packer wide receiver Sterling Sharpe will be playing in the 46th Annual Rotary Charity Tournament on August 12, 2019 at Green Valley Country Club.
“Mr. Sharpe is the third major sports star that has signed up to support our club,” said President Rhoads-Poston. “We are really grateful to have so many quality players and sports legends supporting us.”
The tournament has already attracted former San Francisco 49ers defensive player Dwight Hicks and MLB center-fielder Kenny Lofton to sign up.

Sharpe is a five-time pro bowl wide-receiver for the Green Bay Packers and one of the few to attain the NFL Receiver’s Triple Crown in 1994 by leading the league in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions. He is now a sports analyst for the NFL Network and a Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame member.
The format for the tournament will be a Four Man Scramble. The entry fee includes prizes, lunch, dinner, cart and green fees, free raffle, sports memorabilia silent auction, and much more.
