Still have fruit in your yard?? The Fairfield Suisun Rotary Club will help you pick it!

The Fairfield Suisun Rotary Club is helping homeowners pick their fruit and donate it to the Contra Costa Food Bank in Fairfield or Wheels on Wheels in Suisun.

“One of the most important things we can do during this time is to keep our community fed,” said President Kelly Rhoads-Poston. “Our food distribution centers are running at maximum.”

Residents who want to pick and donate their fruit themselves are encouraged to take it to the Meals on Wheels Center at 95 Marina Center in Suisun (425-0638) or the Food Bank of Contra Costa at 2339 Courage Drive in Fairfield (421-9777). Both will remove the food from your car or pickup, but ask that you call first.

For a team of Rotarians to help or to pick it for you, please call Kelly Rhoads Poston at (707) 290-3991.
