I-80 Lane Closure Lifted, Police Say
A westbound lane was closed for several hours Thursday because of storm debris.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Authorities lifted the closure of the right lane of westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield at about 5 p.m. Thursday. The lane was closed for several hours because of heavy rain and debris in the roadway, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
The westbound lane closure was between Chadbourne Road and the Suisun Valley Road exit, Fairfield police said.
Crews responded to remove storm debris, necessitating the closure, police said.
