Annual Classic for Kids Set for September 25, 2015

The 9th Annual Classic for Kids Golf Tournament and Dinner, a fund raising event for the Solano Kids Insurance Program (SKIP), has been scheduled for Friday, September 25 at Eagle Vines Golf Club in Napa.

SKIP, a program of the Solano Coalition for Better Health, provides Solano children of low income families with health insurance. The Classic for Kids is the cornerstone event for this vital program. All proceeds from the tournament stay in Solano County and go directly to paying insurance premiums for children who would not have health insurance without SKIP and its generous donors.

In 2014 SKIP provided free or low cost health insurance to more than 1,300 uninsured children. Because of this effort, all of Solano County’s 51 elementary schools reached 100% insured status in 2014 and nearly 95% of children in our county ended the school year with health insurance and access to vital health care services.
