Man Accused Of Biting Walmart Employee: Suisun City Police

Officers responded to reports that a man was attacking and biting an employee of the Walmart on Walters Road, police said.

SUISUN CITY, CA — A Walmart employee was attacked and bitten Tuesday by a 23-year-old parolee, officials with the Suisun City Police Department said. Officers were dispatched around 1:20 p.m. to reports that a man was attacking and biting an employee at the Walmart Supercenter on Walters Road, police said.

Officers soon arrived at the Walmart and detained the accused biter for his own protection, Suisun City PD officials said.

Emergency personnel with Medic Ambulance and the Suisun City Fire Department also responded, and the store employee who was attacked was treated at the scene for their injuries, police said.

The suspected biter was identified by police as Xavier Hodge, a 23-year-old Suisun resident who is on post-release community supervision.

Once the incident was investigated, Hodge was arrested and booked into Solano County jail on suspicion of violating his parole, mayhem, and battery of a person causing serious bodily injury. According to jail records, he was being held without bail as of Wednesday afternoon.
