Missing Elderly Fairfield Woman And 2 Grandkids Found Safe

FAIRFIELD, CA — A 75-year-old Fairfield woman and her two grandchildren who had been reported missing were found Thanksgiving morning in Pinole, according to police.

Police said the woman and her two grandchildren, aged 7 and 9, were found a little after 9:30 a.m. and have been reunited with their family.

"We do not have and will not be able to provide information about what the three were doing or where they have been the past three days," Fairfield Police said in a statement. "It's Thanksgiving, please give the family the space they need and enjoy this holiday for what it is, thankfulness and family. Have a great Thanksgiving."

Family members were unable to contact the woman and her car was not at her home, prompting them to report her missing.
