Poll workers receive between $50 and $250, depending on the position.

SOLANO COUNTY – Solano County still needs more than 250 people to work at polling locations in the upcoming general election on November 8, 2016, including openings in Suisun City.
"It takes more than 1,200 citizens to help conduct a county-wide election, and we are still a little short," said Solano County Assistant Registrar of Voters John Gardner. “In addition to helping facilitate the American democratic process here in Solano County, poll workers earn a stipend for their participation.”
For their Election Day duties and training commitment, all poll workers, including alternates, receive a stipend ranging between $50 and $250, depending on the position.
