Raeshaun D. Priest Acknowledged!
Raeshaun D. Priest selected as December 2020 PAL / Solano First Federal Credit Union Student of the Month!
Fairfield PAL member, Raeshaun Priest, has been selected as the Solano First Federal Credit Union Student of the Month for December, 2020.
Raeshaun is a 10th grader at Armijo High School where his favorite subject is science because he believes it helps him understand how things and living systems work. An avid baseball player, he has worked hard to stay in shape during the pandemic by working out with his dad and running. But, still makes time to enjoy his favorite food, pepperoni pizza! After high school, he dreams of playing professional baseball but is also preparing for a career in data science, working with computer software and analyzing data to help companies make better decisions. A natural leader with an outstanding work ethic, Raeshaun was selected by his peers based on his willingness to stretch himself and try new things and his consideration for those around him.
The Fairfield PAL Program is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis students ages 13-18 who are enrolled in school. Memberships are FREE and can be applied for at the Fairfield Community Center by calling 707 428-7435. PAL Center is currently closed due to COVID-19, but is supporting members through virtual programs and a food pantry with the Solano County Food Bank.

PAL uses traditional recreational programming to create an environment that draws young people to support the development of the social and emotional skills required to promote a positive self-identity and become productive and engaged members of our community. By offering teens programs they are interested in and choices, it becomes possible to slip in pro social skill building and development utilizing youth development practices and techniques.
