Small Quakes Shake Grizzly Island Area

GRIZZLY ISLAND - Two small earthquakes occurred overnight in the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The larger of the two was a magnitude-2.9 quake that occurred at 8:24 p.m. Monday evening near Honker Bay, roughly 5 miles north of Pittsburg.
A magnitude-2.6 quake was also recorded in the same area this morning at 2:33 a.m.
