Solano County Schools Superintendent Wins Regional Women’s Leadership Award
Solano County Superintendent of Schools Lisette Estrella-Henderson has been named an Outstanding Woman Leader Award winner.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Solano County Superintendent of Schools Lisette Estrella-Henderson has been selected by the Association of California School Administrators as a regional winner of the 2017 Outstanding Woman Leader Award.
“There are many exceptional educators in Northern California, and being chosen as an outstanding woman leader in this region is truly an honor,” Estrella-Henderson, who has been an educator in Solano County for more than 32 years and became the Superintendent of Schools in January, said in a statement.
California is divided into 19 ACSA regions, with Region 4 serving the counties of Solano, Napa, Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake, as well as the Vallejo City Charter. While other regions have previously given out the Outstanding Woman Leader Award, Estrella-Henderson is the first recipient to be named in Region 4.
