"This project is a catalyst project that will help to drive future development downtown," said City Manager Greg Folsom.
SUISUN CITY, CA — Suisun City's mayor and city manager, along with Solano County Supervisor Jim Spering, were among a crowd of about 80 people who gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for the newest hotel slated for downtown Suisun City. Construction on Holiday Inn Express, 355 Civic Court, is expected to take around 14 months and should be completed by the end of next summer, according to City Manager Greg Folsom.
The new Holiday Inn Express will be a 57,000-square-foot, four-story building, with 83 rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness center, two meeting rooms and many other amenities, according to Folsom.
During the ceremony, Mayor Lori Wilson, Supervisor Spering, and the project developer, Camryn Nojoomi, joined Folsom in discussing the impact and importance of the project to the future of Suisun City.
