Suisun City Police Dept. Swears In New Employees, Says Goodbye To Another

The Suisun City Police Department held a joint swearing-in / retirement ceremony celebrating the addition of five Police Officers and one Public Safety Dispatcher while honoring a retiring Community Services Officer Catherine Chandler for 21 years of service.

The Department welcomed Police Officers Jennelle Edwards, Tiffany Conama, Alyssa Vega, Justin Reynolds and Jonathan Yi, and Public Safety Dispatcher Kaylee West.

“Today is bittersweet as we say, ‘Goodbye,’ to such a long-time part of the Suisun City Police Department family as Community Services Officer Catherine Chandler, but also welcome in six new members to our family,” said Police Chief Aaron Roth. “We are excited to be able to fill some of our vacant positions with such a great group of incoming recruits.”

City Manager Greg Folsom added, “Recruitment and retention of Police Officers and Dispatchers is a challenge that many agencies are currently experiencing. We are pleased to add these new recruits to our team of officers and dispatchers helping to protect and serve our citizens.”
