1 Killed In I-15 Crash In Temecula
A person died in the early morning when their vehicle struck the center divider on the Temecula Valley (15) Freeway, triggering a SigAlert.
TEMECULA, CA — One person was killed when a vehicle crashed into a center divider on the Temecula Valley (15) Freeway early Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning as the body was removed and the wreckage cleared from the freeway.
The crash occurred on the southbound 15 at Main South in Temecula around 1:40 p.m., the CHP reported. It shut down the No. 1 lane.

The person's name was withheld pending notification to the family. There was no immediate word on the gender or age of the victim.
