116 Arrested In Warrant Sweep; 21 From Murrieta, Temecula Area
The outstanding arrest warrants ranged from vandalism to attempted murder, according to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A countywide warrant sweep last week by law enforcement resulted in 116 people taken into custody, including 21 arrests in Menifee, Murrieta and Temecula, the Riverside County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
The May 24-28 operation conducted by the Riverside County Gang Impact Team targeted people with outstanding arrest warrants that ranged from vandalism to attempted murder. In addition to the arrests, 10 firearms were seized, according to the DA's office.

- Monday, May 24: Coachella Valley, 16 arrests made
- Tuesday, May 25: Banning, Beaumont, Cabazon, 18 arrests made
- Wednesday, May 26: Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, 21 arrests made
- Thursday, May 27: Riverside, Corona, 32 arrests made
- Friday, May 28: Hemet, San Jacinto, 29 arrests made
The Riverside County Gang Impact Team is staffed by investigators and agents with the DA’s Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Marshal’s Service and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, and detectives with the Banning, Beaumont, Cathedral City, Corona, Desert Hot Springs, Hemet, Murrieta, Palm Springs, and Riverside police departments. The Impact Team is supervised by the DA’s Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshal’s Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force.
