Blaze Pizza Invites Temecula To Help Feed Hospital Workers
For $5, residents can buy a pizza for Temecula Valley Hospital workers.

TEMECULA, CA — Blaze Pizza in Temecula and its patrons are making sure Temecula Valley Hospital workers are getting their pie fix.
Last month, Blaze Pizza in Temecula launched its “Donate a Pizza to a Healthcare Worker” initiative, and the campaign continues. It works like this: Guests are asked if they would like to buy a pizza for a hospital worker. The cost is $5. Guests can include a personal message of gratitude with the pies. Each week, the restaurant then delivers the pizzas to Temecula Valley Hospital with the notes.
“Thank you for all your hard work! We couldn’t get through this hard time without you guys," Jeni, a Blaze Pizza guest, wrote in a brief note to a healthcare worker.

“Thank you for all your help! You are angels,” another note read.
Amber French Jones, general manager of Temecula's Blaze Pizza, said, “Our guests have been so gracious in donating pizzas, and they really like the ability to share a personal message with someone at the hospital who is working so hard. We at Blaze are happy to subsidize the remaining cost of each pizza and handle all the logistics.”

The Riverside Plaza Blaze Pizza is also participating in the program, and the Palm Desert Blaze locale is kicking off the initiative as well, according to the company.
"In the first three weeks of the “Donate a Pizza to a Healthcare Worker” program, between our local Temecula restaurant and nearby location in Riverside Plaza, over 100 pizzas have been delivered to Temecula Valley Hospital and Riverside Community Hospital," the company said in a statement.
In addition to launching the “Donate a Pizza to a Healthcare Worker” program, Blaze Pizza in Temecula, as well as 10 other Blaze Pizza locations across the Inland Empire, are offering a 20 percent discount to all healthcare and medical workers. No flyer is required. The healthcare worker just needs to show an employee badge or card at checkout. There is no expiration date for the discount program at this time.
