SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA ? The annual California Highway Patrol toy drive for less fortunate children in the Temecula area and across the state is underway.

The toy drive, known as CHiPs for Kids, is a collaboration between CHP and Walgreens, allowing residents to drop off new, unwrapped toys at any CHP office or Walgreens store until Dec. 16.

Uniformed CHP officers will then distribute the donated toys during the week leading up to Christmas.
