City SC Launches New Recreational Soccer League in Menifee Valley
New ambitious program offers area families an affordable local soccer league focused on developing skills in a fun environment

Menifee CA – City SC Menifee Valley has launched a youth recreational soccer league for boys and girls in Perris, Menifee, Canyon Lake, Murrieta, Winchester and French Valley. The new league is set to kick off this coming fall with league play scheduled to start October 3. Training and games will take place on local community fields and parks up and down Menifee Valley. The league will offer weekly training and ten competitive league games in the fall with age group champions crowned. An All-Star program with post season games is also part of the league.
To lead the development and growth of City SC Menifee Valley, the league has installed as Director of Recreational Soccer, Coach Terry Olsen, who brings with him decades of coaching experience, a deep love for the game, and a passionate drive to bring the game to every child who wants to play. “The interest and passion for soccer runs so deep and is so sincere in this area that it is about time that Menifee Valley families have a proper recreational league they can call their own,” said Terry Olsen. “We have set extremely high standards for ourselves to do this right for our families, and our goal is to give them an affordable and well managed soccer league that they can be proud of,” said Olsen.
City SC Menifee Valley’s mission statement is as noble as it is straightforward: “to positively impact the development of youth in our communities by providing soccer and life-enriching opportunities to boys and girls of all ages and playing abilities, to create a lifelong passion for the sport of soccer, and to help raise the level of soccer in our communities.”

The registration fee for the fall season is $125 which includes a full uniform. As the State of California moves towards reopening youth recreational sports, the league will not charge families the registration fee until the season has been guaranteed to start.
“The recreational league belongs to our families, so it must inspire, be inclusive and, most importantly, be fun for everyone,” said City SC Menifee Valley Program Director Alexx Pachon. Coach Alexx has been involved with the game for almost 20 years, has coached teams from U6 to college, and has been a fixture in the local soccer community for years. “We want parents to enjoy the experience with their children, so there will not be any mandatory volunteering requirements imposed on anyone,“ said Pachon.

On the soccer side, City SC Menifee Valley has a wealth of experience available in the recruitment and training of parent coaches. Technical Director, Aaron Kiely, has unveiled a unique and carefully designed soccer curriculum so that every training session is meaningful, inspiring, and fun for the players.
Coach Aaron, who is a native of England, brings with him impressive credentials from the game. He is licensed by USSF, UEFA and the English FA, and has 12 years of coaching experience at an elite level. Coach Aaron played and coached at Fulham Football Club’s Academy in England before moving to the US.
“The power of a coach to inspire is immeasurable, so I want to make sure our recreational coaches are given the same opportunities to grow as our competitive club coaches,” said Kiely. “Our recreational coaches are important to me and will be offered coaching education clinics, support and a curriculum to help with planning the season. My goal is to ignite a lifelong passion for coaching in as many parent coaches as possible the same way I was inspired when I first started out,” adds Aaron Kiely.
City SC Menifee Valley has partnered with the City of Menifee and has been allocated city fields for training and league games. The league will not impose any volunteer requirements on parents, but is looking for volunteer coaches for the inaugural season.
