TEMECULA, CA — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form, so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Great Oak High School student Maya Pablos will graduate this year.

Accomplishments: While Maya was at Great Oak High School, she was a part of the Field Hockey team for 3 years as well as the Girls Soccer program for 4 years where she was a goalkeeper. She earned her letter in both sports as well as a 3rd letter for Academics due to her maintaining a 4.0 for her entire high school career. Maya was also a part of the CTE Engineering program for 4 years. During her Senior year, Maya was appointed to the Athletic Captain’s Council where she was a co-captain for the Girls Varsity Soccer team.
