County Waste Department Provides Free Virtual 'Zero Waste' Class

The Department of Waste Resources is excited to bring a new class online: Making Your Home Zero Waste. This class is offered to Riverside County residents for the first time on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 9 – 10 a.m. No registration is required for this free, virtual class. You may access it on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Visit www.rcwaste.org/classes for the link.

County residents often have questions about how to practice zero waste lifestyles in their homes and workplaces. This class explores the basics of zero waste and sustainability – what is zero waste, waste creation, and strategies for every room in your house.

Attendees receive resources and valuable links that will help them implement zero waste practices in their home or in the office. Join us and learn how easy it is to become zero waste!
