Fire Engulfs Mobile Home East of Temecula

Thirty-two firefighters were dispatched to the fire that was reported at 4:35 p.m. Monday in the 40500 block of East Benton Road, near the unincorporated community of Sage.

Flames tore through a mobile home Monday afternoon, east of Temecula, according to authorities.

Thirty-two firefighters were dispatched to the blaze that was reported at 4:35 p.m. Monday in the 40500 block of East Benton Road, near the unincorporated community of Sage, according to reports from CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol.

“The first arriving engine company reported a mobile home fully involved,” CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman Jody Hagemann wrote in a report.

No one had been injured in the fire as of Hagemann’s posting at 5:10 p.m. Monday.

According to CHP’s Web page, the location of the fire was on East Benton between Hanover Lane and Stratton Road.
