TEMECULA, CA ? Southwest Sheriff's Station deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department arrested "a known drug dealer" while she was staying at a Temecula area hotel Thursday, one day before Halloween, the department shared.

"A quick parole search led to a large amount of methamphetamine and fentanyl being taken off the street," they said.

Monique Aguirre, 32, of Lake Elsinore, was located in the area of Nicolas Road and Winchester Road by the Temecula Police, according to Lt.Deirdre Vickers.

She was arrested without incident and booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, according to jail records. She was released one day later, on a $40,000 bond.

Aguirre is due in court at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on Dec. 17 to answer pending charges of Felony possession of fentanyl for sales, possession of methamphetamine for sales, and transportation, as well as petty theft and failure to pay fines. She was released on a $40,000 bond Friday, according to jail records.
