Mountain Mike's Pizza Opens Second Temecula Location

TEMECULA, CA — Amid a pandemic, franchisee Robby Basati opened a Mountain Mike's Pizza in June on Ynez Road. Now he's opened a second Temecula location at 39628 Winchester Rd., Suite I-J and another one in Jurupa Valley.

“Opening two new restaurants, in the same county, in the same week, was no small feat but we could not be prouder to have our doors now open in both Temecula and Jurupa Valley," Basati said. "The past year has brought many trials, but it has also given us the ability to continue building momentum towards what we feel will be [an] incredibly successful year for the brand.”

Basati has been franchising with Mountain Mike’s Pizza for over 15 years. Within the past three years, he's opened nine restaurants throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties and has two more Mountain Mike’s locations slated to open under his leadership by the end of 2021, according to the company.

Once the state allows California's restaurant dining rooms to reopen, Mountain Mike's patrons will see arcade games, expansive outdoor patios and big-screen TVs throughout the new Temecula and Jurupa Valley locations. In the meantime, to-go orders are available, and the company partners with several meal delivery services.

Mountain Mike's has a reputation as a family restaurant that also caters to sports teams, group fundraising events, celebrations — and people who just love pizza.

The Mountain Mike's brand has been around for more than 40 years — with more than 200 locations along the West Coast and Utah. In addition to its "Mountain-sized" pizzas, the restaurant's menu also features boneless and bone-in wings, garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, an all-you-can-eat salad bar, and a selection of beer and wine.

The Mountain Mike's that opened in June is located at Temecula Town Center, 27644 Ynez Road.
