Officials ID Woman Killed in Rancho California Road Crash

Sharina Thomason of Temecula was killed Monday.

Authorities announced early Tuesday that Sharina Thomason of Temecula was killed in Monday's car crash on Rancho California Road.

Thomason, 27, died at 3:25 p.m. shortly after her sedan was struck by a pickup truck, according to authorities.

Witnesses told Sgt. Dean Spivacke of the Temecula Police Department on Monday that the pickup truck ran a red light before hitting the gold sedan.

Two others were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
