Remains of Five Bodies Found in Temecula House Fire
Fire officials responded to the location after a fire broke out early Monday.

TEMECULA, CA — The bodies of at least five people were found in a fire that burned a Temecula home early Monday.
The fire was reported around 5:01 a.m. in the 41400 block of Cruz Way, in the unincorporated area of Temecula, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators from the Cal-Fire Arson Unit, Southwest Station and the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene.

The origins of the fire have not been determined and are still under investigation. The decedents’ remains are held at the Coroner’s Office, and positive identification is pending.
