Sexual Assault In Temecula Store: Suspect Sought

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A man suspected of fondling himself then sexually assaulting a female customer inside a Temecula retail store is being sought by the sheriff's department.

The man was captured on video surveillance during the alleged acts that took place around 6:40 p.m. Dec. 11 at the retailer in the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway.

"An unidentified adult male was caught on security cameras fondling himself and following female customers around the retail store," according to a Southwest Sheriff's Station report from Sgt. Edmond Seltzer. "The male subject eventually sexually assaulted a female customer before leaving the store. That incident was also caught on security cameras."

The investigation is ongoing and the sheriff's department released the attached still image of the alleged suspect in the hope that the public can help identify him.
