Sinkhole Forces Road Closure In Temecula
The sinkhole was reported Thursday morning on Redhawk Parkway, according to the CHP.

TEMECULA, CA ? A sinkhole reported Thursday morning in Temecula prompted a road closure, according to information from the California Highway Patrol.
Southbound Redhawk Parkway, between Temecula Parkway and Overland Trail, was shut down just after 7:30 a.m.
There was no word on how long the closure would last.

Wednesday night the city reported a closure at Via Rio Temecula and Overland Trail due to a recycled water-line break. The adjacent bridge was closed.
At 8:15 p.m., Rancho California Water announced the northbound lane of Redhawk Parkway was closed at Via Rio Temecula (near Kohl's) to Overland Trail, but southbound traffic was being allowed through.

According to the utility, recycled water customers were expected to have water back by 7 a.m. Thursday but northbound traffic would likely be affected until early afternoon.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
