“It has been a long time coming. We are very excited to unveil the new playground equipment at Sam Hicks Monument Park. This playground contains play features that no other park in Temecula has. You will definitely want to experience this unique park the next time you are visiting Old Town Temecula," said Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards.
Temecula City Council Member and Community Services District President Zak Schwank said, “The new playground provides updated recreational amenities and educational manipulatives at the entrance of the Temecula Valley Museum, making it a great destination for families.
