Temecula Motel Killing: Man Charged With Murder
Andrew Christian Temple is accused of fatally assaulting a 34-year-old acquaintance in Temecula last week outside a local motel.

MURRIETA, CA - A man accused of fatally assaulting a 34-year-old acquaintance in Temecula was charged Thursday with murder.
Andrew Christian Temple, 28, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of killing David Deschepper in the 41000 block of Moreno Road, just off of Jefferson Avenue.
Temple, who's being held in lieu of $1 million bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta, was slated to make his initial court appearance Thursday afternoon at the Southwest Justice Center.

According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Richard Carroll, Temple and Deschepper got into some sort of dispute near a business, culminating in the defendant's alleged attack on the victim. The nature of the dispute and the weapon used in the fatal assault were not revealed.
Deschepper was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, who were called to the location minutes after the alleged attack, according to Carroll.

Temple was arrested without a struggle nearby and taken to the sheriff's Southwest Station, where he was questioned and ultimately booked into jail, the sergeant said.
According to court records, the defendant has prior convictions for domestic abuse and driving on a suspended license.
