Temecula Rugby Club To Host Annual Golf Tournament
Proceeds from the event will help the group to keep promoting, managing and teaching the game of rugby to people of all ages in the region.
The Temecula Rugby Club: The Temecula Rugby Club, a nonprofit community organization, is hosting their annual golf tournament on Sunday, November 10th at Redhawk Golf Course in Temecula. The annual event is the organization’s major fundraiser for the year. Proceeds from the event will enable the Temecula Rugby Club to sustain its ongoing mission of promoting, managing and teaching the game of rugby to men, women and youth of all ages in the Inland Valley. A portion of the proceeds will also go toward a charity assisting veterans with PTSD and suicide awareness. Check-in begins at 11:45am at the Redhawk Golf Club. The cost of admission is $99 per participant which includes: cart and green fees, a boxed lunch and awards. The event will feature a four person scramble format in addition to a “Closest to the Pin”,
Long Drive and Hole in One contest with a chance to win $3500 and various raffle prizes. According to the event organizer, Adam Barker, “The golf tournament is always a great event! Each year we have good people get together and have fun to raise money not only for our club, which is a great organization, but also for a charitable cause. This year we are playing at the spectacular Redhawk Golf Course and we’ve partnered up with Elite Golf Events and Krank to add to the fun.
