Temecula Stabbing Under Investigation
Sheriff's officials say one person was hospitalized in connection to the case.

TEMECULA, CA — One person was hospitalized this week in a stabbing in a Temecula neighborhood, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department confirms to Patch.
The incident was reported around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 40000 block of Bellevue Drive, near Harveston Drive, according to sheriff's Dep. Robyn Flores.
"Deputies arrived and located a victim with a stab wound," she said. "The suspect had fled the area prior to deputies arriving."

The victim, who was not identified, was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds to the upper portion of their body, according to Flores. An update on his or her condition was not immediately available.
Flores said that detectives responded to the scene after the call, but did not locate a suspect in the case.

The sheriff's department is investigating the case.
