Temecula Traffic Advisory: Friday Night Graduation Ceremonies

Traffic will be heavier Friday night as in-person graduation ceremonies get underway at TVUSD's three comprehensive high schools.

TEMECULA, CA — In-person high school graduation ceremonies in the Temecula Valley Unified School District won't be as heavily attended as usual, but they will take place in 2021 and motorists should expect considerable traffic around the campuses.

Seniors have the option of walking during the June 4 commencements, but they are only being provided with four spectator tickets for family members. While the numbers may be down, there will be crowds. The motoring community is asked to plan ahead and be patient.

The ceremonies will be held in the respective school stadiums. Friday's schedule is as follows:

Chaparral High School — 7 p.m.

Great Oak High School — 7 p.m.

Temecula Valley High School — 6 p.m.

Rancho Vista High School/Temecula Valley Adult School and Susan Nelson High School will hold their in-person graduation ceremonies on Saturday, June 5. The schedule is as follows:

Susan Nelson High School — 9 a.m. at Great Oak High School's field

Rancho Vista High School/Temecula Valley Adult School — 11 a.m. at Great Oak High School's field

TVUSD fifth-grade graduations take place Thursday, June 3, while middle-schoolers graduate Monday, June 7. Details on times and allowable spectators are being shared with families by the schools.
