Trabuco Canyon Man ID'd In Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The Orange County Coroner identified a 21-year-old south Orange County man who perished on Saturday.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA —The Orange County Coroner identified a 21-year-old motorcyclist who died when he collided with a bicyclist in Trabuco Canyon, Saturday evening.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the motorcyclist struck a tree and did not survive.

Thomas Foroughi was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash near the 19900 block of Live Oak Canyon Road, the coroner's office reported.

Foroughi was the only victim in the crash, the coroner's office said.

The roadway was closed in both directions for several hours during the subsequent investigation, handled by the Capistrano office of the California Highway Patrol.
