Trabuco Canyon Water District Rates, Fees And Charges

Press release from the Trabuco Canyon Water District:

The 2015 Cost of Service and Rate Study established the basis for annual adjustments to the District’s rates and charges for water, sewer and recycled water services beginning in 2016. The last rates adjustment under the 2015 Study was effective January 1, 2020. In order for the District to keep pace with inflation and other cost increases in water and wastewater treatment, and to maintain aging pipes, pump stations, and treatment facilities, the District has carefully considered future adjustments to rates and charges. The District has conducted a new cost of service analysis and rate study for calendar years 2021 through 2025 which demonstrates that the proposed fees and charges do not exceed ratepayers’ proportional cost of using water, wastewater and recycled water services.

The Rate Study was made available online on November 16, 2020 and at the District offices at 32003 Dove Canyon Drive, Trabuco Canyon, California 92679.

The District’s Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing on December 16, 2020 regarding the proposed rates and charges.

In compliance with Proposition 218, and in accordance with the 2015 Rate Study, the District's current rates, fees and charges were adjusted for calendar year 2020, effective January 1, 2020 following Notice of the adjusted rates, fees and charges was mailed to the affected District's customers.
